After sharing a few preview posts on our social media channels this fall, we are so pleased to formally announce the latest addition to our line of Case Pieces, the Newton Sideboard. Rounding out the Newton Collection of brass-accented dining and coffee tables, the Newton Sideboard is also inspired by mid-century design, offering clean lines and a juxtaposition of natural materials.
The white oak Newton Sideboard we built for our Kennebunkport showroom has certainly been a hit these last few months, and even ended up being prominently featured on the pages of Maine Home + Design this fall.
The brass dovetails are a favorite detail of ours and prove to be a thoughtful accent to any variety of wood. Each cabinet also features an adjustable shelf, perfect for storing any number of dining, entertaining, or office essentials.
For their home overlooking Moody Beach, our clients opted for the Newton Sideboard in white oak, topped with our signature Gates finish, as pictured below. They also decided to forgo the brass dovetails and swap out the standard brass pulls for oil rubbed bronze.
We love seeing how this Newton Sideboard complements a dining room full of Shovel Chairs surrounding a Gates Trestle Table, both built in white oak and finished with our signature Newton stain.
In a house overlooking Biddeford Pool, the Newton Sideboard looks quite at home next to a Newton Table in this coastal-inspired dining room.
Please contact us with any questions you might have about our Newton Sideboard and how we might be able to tailor it to fit into a room of your own.
