Another busy winter in the Huston & Company workshop has come and gone, and we’re all looking forward to the signs of spring that keep popping up here in Maine. We had the chance to shoot a number of projects, big and small, in the workshop this winter season. From a 12 foot conference table for the president’s office at Princeton University, to a sizable installation for the college’s Math Lab, to multiple custom dining tables and consoles for our residential clients, it’s been quite a full first quarter of 2018!

A glimpse of the 12 foot conference table we constructed for the president’s office at Princeton. This new table was modeled after the first one we built for the president’s office in 1997. Though the original table is still in pristine condition, a longer table is now needed. We’ve added an additional two feet to the design of the new table. Both tables are built of “ropey” or figured cherry and sport an inlay of wenge.
