1988 – 2013
25 Years
Yes, it’s true. This year marks the 25thanniversary of Huston & Company. As many of you know, Bill started Huston & Company in Poland Spring, Maine, in April of 1988. It was never his intention to grow Huston & Company to a large manufacturing business, but rather to maintain a small sized, highly personalized business in which he could develop relationships and friendships with his customers, maintain a very high level of quality of craftsmanship, and create new, handmade furniture designs every day.

Today, Huston & Company is not much bigger than it was 25 years ago, but it’s even better. We’ve moved forward each year, maintaining old friendships and developing new ones. We render new, creative designs of fine furniture daily as we build solutions for our customers’ homes, schools, libraries and places of business. The quality of our furniture has not wavered, and our furniture-building techniques have remained true though we are now more efficient in our shop and friendlier to our planet all around. And, we’re a family business now.
