York Showhouse 2012, Sitting Area

Harmony at Harmon House; The York Decorator Showhouse

For the third year in a row, we have the privilege of providing furniture for Mary O’Neill’s design at the Old York Historical Society’s Decorator Showhouse.

Mary O’Neill has been a client of Huston & Company for many years, periodically ordering custom this-and-that’s for her own clients. She began her own interior design business (Mary O’Neill Interior Design of North Andover, MA) in 2005, after completing a Certificate of Interior Design through the New Hampshire Institute of Art

Her focus has been on residential interior design and she is committed to promoting and showcasing the works of New England furniture makers, glass artists, painters and photographers.  She believes that quality, beauty and creativity can all be found right here in New England. We believe that too.

This year, Mary has done an outstanding job with the second floor hallway and sitting area at Harmon House. Using a soft and comforting pallet, Mary has created a lovely transitional space, perfect for those rare moments you find free to while-away with a good book or your favorite magazine. Here’s a preview…
